Ph.D. Student
Katie is a third-year doctoral student in the Developmental Psychology program. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University, where she completed an honors thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Rebecca Brooker. After graduating, Katie worked as a research coordinator with Drs. Kristin Buss and Koraly Pérez-Edgar at The Pennsylvania State University. In the Stroller Lab, Katie is excited to study the role of the home environment in neural and cognitive development, with a focus on protective factors that could inform interventions and policy changes.
