Ph.D. Student
Ji Young is a third-year doctoral student in the Developmental Psychology program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. She received a Study Abroad Scholarship from the Korean Government to pursue her PhD. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, understanding how poverty and early childhood stress can influence the future brain activity and socioemotional well-being of children. She is also interested in exploring strategies to mitigate these challenges. During her free time, Ji Young loves to watch movies and explore new restaurants around her neighborhood. She also loves to travel solo!
